Now is the Time for Fearless & Free Thinkers to Arise

Today is the day to arise from the state of hypnosis this world has put you in and start thinking for yourself. Stop believing the nay-sayers for your destiny. Stop believing the media for your future. Stop believing the God-hating agenda of this world and start believing Love for your destiny. If you are a child of God, walking according to His ways, and are separated unto holiness for His Kingdom, then hold on because the Creator of the universe desires to spill out His blessings all over your life!

How do I know, you ask? That’s easy to answer, His word tells us so. You have probably heard the song, “Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so.” How do we know He loves us? The Bible tells us so. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Jn 3:16 NIV It is the same with blessings, the Bible tells us "And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God”: - Deu 28:2 Obedience brings blessings.

It has been said that Christians are cultish and don’t think for themselves, but that couldn’t be any further from the truth. People are originally created in the image of God, and He created thinking, He created intelligence and is not against it but also doesn’t desire that we rely strictly on our own ability. Thinkers are people who have a well-developed faculty for thinking such as a scholar or a theorist. God is a thinker, He is an expert in all things, and He has called His people to think as well. He has not called them to be zombies led by way of the world; He has called them to think as He thinks.

God tells us to think on whatever is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and whatever is of good report. In today’s world the processing of thoughts is on hyper-drive due to the influx of information that comes at us from every direction, and if it is coming through a media source, it is likely bad or discouraging news. God’s word gives us the truth and slows us down to think about the things of God and not of this world.

His Word is Jesus Christ, and in Him, all things pertaining to life and godliness have been given to us (2Pet 1:3). Nothing is lacking for those who know and acknowledge Him as Lord and Savior; they lack nothing. It is all in perspective; do you believe what the Scriptures tell you about God and His word? Have you even read Your Fathers love letter to you? He wrote the universal story, from beginning to end and it is all in the Holy Bible, right there for anyone to open and seek out the mysteries of the universe and the Divine. It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter. Pro 25:2 KJV

You don’t know what you have because you haven’t searched it out, you don’t know what He offers because you haven’t sought Him. God is a rewarder of those who believe He is and those who diligently seek Him (Heb 11:6) God is not a man that He shall lie, what He says He does. If He has promised us abundant life (Jn 10:10) then an abundant life we shall have. If we don’t have a proper perspective and godly understanding of “abundant life,” however, we will shake our heads to this statement and declare lack instead of abundance.

Do Not Boast in Your Own Knowledge

All things that pertain to life and godliness have been given to those who acknowledge Christ. Paul told the Corinthian church “Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours:” ~ 1 Cor 3:20. He said this to stop them from boasting in their own futile wisdom which would bring them into deception. In many ways the church in Corinth and many others had made their wisdom their god, it was a religious thing and as it was then, so it remains today. Paul said, “The LORD knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” 1 Cor 3:20 Man does not have anything to offer towards your salvation nor can he contribute anything that pertains to the lifestyle a Christian should lead. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding, In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. Pro 3:5-7

The Bible tells us that the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom and the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise such wisdom and instruction. Many would rather hear a good speaker that motivates them and makes their ears tingle, be it a pastor or a new age guru; they don’t care so long as the words they hear speak to their own idols and desires.

Today we can “Google” anything and find multiple opinions on any subject, but at the end of the day, they are just that, opinion. God’s word is life for those who believe and foolishness to those who don’t; this will never change until the day one meets Truth face to face.

Thieves Will Come

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10 NASB Abundantly means exceeding any number or measure, rank or need. Abundant is over and above, more than necessary, superior, extraordinary and more excellent! There is nothing better than a life in Jesus Christ. I know, I once was in the world with all that it had to offer by way of things, friends, family, money, and many other things but it did not offer peace, salvation, or freedom. All that this world offers is temporary, it will all die, and we will awake in a place face to face with our Creator regardless of whether we knew Him or not. He knows us and will know what we did with what He gave us.

For the LORD God [is] a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good [thing] will He withhold From those who walk uprightly. - Psa 84:11

Life abundance is that which God determines is best for our souls and not what we think is best. He will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly. Hear this; one must walk according to His will to receive all that He has for us. Why? Simple, Satan hates you and wants to destroy, kill, and steal all that God has for you and if you allow him entry to your life, he will succeed. You say, “I don’t allow Satan to take from me, he has no right to me.” But you do, and he does, every time you walk another way than that which God said to walk in you open a door for the enemy of your soul to come in and rob you. Satan is a legalist and is on the prowl to find those who are not walking uprightly, those he can find a way into their lives. If this were not true, then we would not be given specific instructions not to give the devil a foothold (Eph 4:27). Every time an individual commits a sin while believing in their heart that transgression is okay because love covers a multitude of sin and God loves them, they give the devil a foothold. God does love you and His agape love will cover your sin if you ask Him. Repent, and do the works of the Lord, producing fruit in keeping with repentance (Mat 3:8). One cannot sin in their hearts and deeds with intention, thinking that all is good because God’s mercy is new every day and His grace is sufficient for their sin. His grace is sufficient to see you through the enticement of sin and keep you from it if indeed He has been given your full heart.

Fearless Freedom in Christ

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2Tim 1:7

To be fearless is to be bold and brave without reservation towards fear when it stands in opposition to the goal set before you. The crown of glory is our goal as Christians, as many crowns (rewards) that we can gain so that we can cast them to the feet of our glorious friend and Savior, Jesus Christ. Freedom is life without physical restraint, and being exempt from the devil's plans against our destiny and the power to act without restraint according to God’s will. Because of the blood of Jesus Christ and the work on Calvary we are free to do the will of the Father, remembering that it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Phil 2:13 NIV His purpose is the highest calling we have on our lives. Our purpose is His purpose because He saved us from an eternity of torment and He desires a return on His investment; that return is us fulfilling His purpose. We are free from fear because we have been given authority over fear and the only power fear truly has over us is that which we give it.

Lastly, God did not create robots for Himself or for anyone else; He gave us free will to choose life or death, heaven or hell, the world or Jesus. If we think according to the world’s wisdom, we will continue the paths of the world and there are many. But, if we allow the leading of God’s Spirit to direct our path we will find ourselves on a narrow and free road that may have some bumps, windy turns, and other hazards for that is the way of life but at the end of that narrow and sometimes difficult road, we will reside with the Lord for eternity.

Let’s pray,

Heavenly Father, thank You for the cross, for Jesus Christ, and for salvation. You say that Your kindness leads to repentance and I’m not sure I recognize Your kindness because my thoughts have been on the cares of this world and not on Your thoughts. Today I am in need of deliverance from the stronghold of the world and all it entails. I come before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ with a heart that desires to turn from its wicked ways and put all my trust in You. Help me navigate on the narrow and sometimes hazardous road, until I reach my destiny called Heaven. In Jesus name, Amen
