Copy of Show Down Between Good and Evil

Every time America has an election, we can see warfare at its highest. We see it mainly through the people as they refuse to submit to holiness and morality and instead stick to their opinions of personality preference. This way of thinking has brought America to her knees, and I fear lest we turn to God, our days will come to a swift judgment. They will have to according to the word of God, for He will not strive with us forever, and He will not ignore our sins forever.

The world will continue to do what it will, which is bad enough. But when the body of people called to be the Church, married to Jesus, will not relent from their sin, the fear of the Lord must be released. Some will embrace the correction and repent, and some will not.

I cannot tell you how many men we minister to that are addicted to pornography. Some of these men are married, some have children, some are young, and some not so young. I have not found a commonality other than a spirit of perversion and lust. They all come from different backgrounds and beliefs, yet they have all embraced this addiction.

For all that is in the world—the lust and sensual craving of the flesh and the lust and longing of the eyes and the boastful pride of life [pretentious confidence in one's resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father, but are from the world. – 1 Jn 2:16 AMP

Those who love God stop sinning. We are not to love the world of sin that is opposing God and His law nor the things of the world, yet many do. Why? Partly the wounding of the heart has opened many people up to the sinful nature that is supposed to be destroyed when we are born again. People are strengthened to engage in holiness when there is an actual born-again experience. However, people often return to what was comforting for them pre-Jesus and open the door to the demonic realm. Once the entrance of sin is closed upon accepting our new life in Jesus, it is dangerous to open it.

The first thing a new convert must be warned of is that Satan is serious about their salvation. Therefore, they must be serious. They are to be sober, alert, and watchful that the devil, roaming the earth looking to destroy, does not find evidence against them. A life of holiness will keep us safe. A life of harlotry will keep us bound to the world and all its dangers.

I have met some wonderful people over the years and have wept with them over their sins. I have helped them identify why they do what they do and, for many, witnessed them get free. The Bible tells us that a righteous man (or woman) can fall seven times and get back up, but one disaster (or fall) will cause the wicked to be overthrown.

Time and time again, Jesus promises to reward those who overcome. Overcoming means not giving up. Jesus said the one who endures or stands firm until the end will be saved (Mat 24:13).

There is a battle raging for your soul. The devil wants to sift you until you fail. He will request your presence in the courts of heaven to bring accusations against you that will allow him to attack you in your health, finances, family, etc. You are to be found living a holy and blameless life, which means you live morally upright.

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. – 1 Co 6:9a

Those who practice sin such as lying, cheating, stealing, having sex outside of marriage, and having sex that is ungodly and unnatural (homosexuality, bestiality, incest, sodomy) will not be saved. Neither will those who are adulterers, jealous, envious, murderers (abortion and hatred), drunks, and drug addicts will not be saved. Just because it is not against human law does not mean it is good for us.

You may have committed these sins, but if you are born again, you stop doing them. Now, if you keep falling, you must get back up. You do not have the option to continue in your sin because if you do, you are NOT a child of God. Do not be deceived because children of God are special people who have come out from among this world and embraced holiness. You may trip, stumble, and even fall, but if you get back up, repent and keep going, you are enduring, which means you are saved.

14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them And walk among [them]. I will be their God, And they shall be My people." 17 Therefore "Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you." 18 "I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty." - 2Co 6:1, 14-18 NKJV

"Be holy, for I am holy." God said that. He demands holiness. These scriptures are some of the best evidence to support a holy lifestyle.

Let's pray,

Heavenly Father, I repent. I am ready to give up this world and live a life that honors You. I ask You to forgive me for all the sins I have committed knowingly and unknowingly and help me walk in the freedom Jesus gave me. I submit. I surrender. I build an altar of sacrifice and lay my sin upon it. I no longer desire to be a sinner, but I want to be a saint and a child of God. I break every ungodly soul tie and demonic connection to my past and current sin and command the demonic spirits I have empowered through these sins to leave me now in Jesus' name. I celebrate my place in Jesus. Amen
